Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all banquet events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Oversee banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and setup/cleanup crews, ensuring excellent service and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Manage banquet event logistics, including scheduling, setup, decorations, and equipment.
- Monitor and control banquet budgets, including inventory, supplies, and labor costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate banquet staff to foster a team-oriented environment.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events.
- Coordinate with culinary and service teams to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in banquet or event management, hospitality, or related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Budgeting and inventory management skills.
